1:00 PM on the dot! No Egyptian/Indian Standard Time!
God willing, we hope to combine the rites from both churches since, technically, all the Oriental Orthodox Churches are one church.
While we know you are super excited about us, we kindly ask that you refrain from such cultural practices. "And He said to them, "It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer'" (Matthew 21:13).
We would love for you to join us in prayer during the ceremony! We’ve hired an amazing professional photographer, and we can’t wait to share the beautiful pictures they capture with you!
We suggest wearing formal attire, and we wholeheartedly encourage modesty. Additionally, traditional Indian or Egyptian attire is welcomed!
We're excited to share that our reception will be a wonderful celebration without alcoholic drinks or dancing. Instead, we'll delight you with a fantastic buffet filled with delicious food, refreshing mocktails, and a few delightful surprises to make the day even more special!
