For the Welcome Party - look fabulous and be ready to celebrate! Ladies, think dresses, jumpsuits, rompers, sundresses, florals, maxi dresses, or your favorite cocktail-ready outfit! Gentlemen, wear long pants with a button-down—short or long sleeves are perfect! A dark or light sports jacket is always welcomed depending on your vibe! Feel free to keep it chic, springy, or a little fancy! For the Ceremony and Reception please wear formal cocktail attire! Think mid-to-long dresses or jumpsuits for women and suits (with ties) for men. PLEASE NOTE that a lot of the evening will be spent on grass, so block heels are recommended! For everything else (aka whatever you want to do outside of the festivities) bring active clothes! There's plenty of hiking/walking trails and a beautiful lake you should definitely take advantage of. May in Vermont can be unpredictable, so bring sweaters/jackets for the evening, but make sure to also have light layers incase it's hot!
Please arrive no later than 4:15pm, as the ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm! If you're staying at the The Grand Summit Inn, the shuttle schedule is: Pick Up: 4:05pm Drop Off: 4:15pm Later in the night the shuttle schedule is: 1st Pick Up: 10:00pm 2nd Pick Up: 11:00pm 3rd Pick Up: 12:00am
Yes there will be limited parking onsite. As such we encourage those staying at the Grand Summit to take the shuttle to and from the Inn. Uber and Lyft do not exist in this part of Vermont and as such please plan accordingly.
To preserve the intimacy of our celebration with loved ones and dear friends we are limited to the number of +1s we may extend . If you received a +1 it will be noted on your invitation.
Yes. If you have a legitimate allergy please let us know so we can adjust our menu. We are aware of nut allergies in the family and will be taking proactive steps to limit nut exposure. We will also be offering a vegetarian option.
Most of our wedding will be outdoors on the grounds of the inn with a tented reception to follow the ceremony. We do have the entire inn reserved for our use so part of cocktail hour and our after party will be inside at the Tavern.
