The spring of sophomore year of high school (2019) Janaya found herself becoming a sports medic for the Ellison football team, helping out the varsity football, the team which Keanu played for. They met and talked a little but nothing happened until junior year, when Keanu finally decided to come up to Janaya and start talking to her. The two went three weeks getting to know one and other before Keanu asked Janaya out on a lunch date. That day the two sat at Sonic getting to know one and other better and then later on, Keanu asked Janaya to be his girlfriend. Of course Janaya said yes but Keanu said he was going to ask her out in a different way, so she waited, and waited. Three weeks go by and Keanu confirmed the two were in fact a couple (on November, 21st, 2019) and Janaya had no clue that the two were dating (typically lol). The two were excited to finish off junior year together but as we all know, 2020 happened and left the two quarantined for months. Eventually the couple did get to see one and other and resparked everything. They went through senior year together, football games, first jobs, first cars, prom, you name it! The two were basically inseparable. After graduating, the couple went through schooling, traveling, and family events. In 2024, Keanu and Janaya were going to hit their five year anniversary! For a surprise Janaya took Keanu to Hawaii, and he reversed uno her by getting down on one knee and purposing. It was the easiest yes for her! (She also already knew it was happening but dont tell Keanu lol). The two are now excited to see what the rest of their lives can hold for them.
