Hello and welcome! Glad you’re here! We can’t wait to celebrate with you all during a very special time in our lives. Cody and I shared so many adventures but this one is my favorite. We took a week off from our work routine and decided to stay in Taos, New Mexico. We went for the Vortex Music Festival featuring Theivery Corporation and many others. We walked around the town and saw so many eclectic art galleries. Taos was filled with blooming purple sage flowers. We had amazing mexican food. Cody had a “mexican burger” just meat and bun as he would tell the waiter. We made sure to visit a few coffee establishments to start our day of adventures. The Coffee Apothecary was our favorite. We booked an excursion, went white water river rafting on the Rio Grande. This trip was the cats meow, it was perfect. We stayed at the most beautiful resort and spa i have ever seen! El Monte Sagrado is a hotel built on heritage and culture. During our stay at El Monte Sagrado we experienced a real vacation. Our room was private, the grounds were pristine and the cuisine was deeply satisfying. Our favorite part about the property was the pool. The pool was inside a green house! It was an all salt water aquatic center with beautiful exotic tropical plants throughout and a salt water jacuzzi. The pool looked like an all natural swimming hole with caves underneath. This place was magical. Cody being the audio visual guy he is decided to put my iphone on a timer in the grass facing us so we could get a proper selfie. He fumbled with it for a while trying to perfect the angle. I was spinning around and looking up at the trees being my goofy self and when i turned around after he said “ready”, he was on the ground in the grass on one knee with his big blue eyes staring right at me holding a gorgeous ring. I was in such shock i think something stupid came out of my mouth but the answer, of course was YES! Already a year later and i can’t wait to bring the magic of Taos to our wedding day!
