Dressy casual. Casual dressy. Dressy. Casual. You do you. The venue is a rustic event space set on 7 acres of farmland. You'll be walking on grass, bricks, gravel, and rustic wood floors. We suggest flat (and comfortable!) shoes.
We love kids; however, to keep the guest list manageable, unfortunately we couldn't invite all the children in our lives. If your children's names were included on your invitation, please indicate the total number of kids and adults when you RSVP.
No worries! Please indicate any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
Joining two lives together is a momentous occasion, and we'd like to give it the reverence it deserves. So we ask that all phones be turned off and put away during the ceremony. Plus, we have an amazing photographer who's going to be capturing our ceremony, and we don't want to hinder her ability to get good pictures if everyone is trying to take their own!
We understand. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30, so please arrive around 5:00-5:15 to grab a seat if you can. If you arrive after 5:30, we ask that you stay in your vehicle near the main entrance until 6:00 when the ceremony ends and then join us for cocktail hour. The ceremony location is near the gravel parking lot, so we'd like to avoid noise and dust during the ceremony.
All events will take place on the grounds at Venue 5126. The ceremony will be outside at a beautiful pergola. (In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the barn, which will be just fine by us. It's beautiful, and we had a hard time choosing between an indoor and outdoor ceremony in the first place!) Cocktail hour will take place immediately following the ceremony and will be held in the barn. Dinner will follow in the tent. And we'll close out the night with sweets, drinks, and dancing in the barn and s'mores on the patio (with 2 fire pits).
Hey, thanks for asking! We're sure every other wedding you've attended had similarities and some things that made it unique. Ours will be no different: we'll smile a lot, laugh nervously, make vows, seal them with a kiss, eat, drink, dance, and celebrate! We'll just be doing it as two brides.
