Question

Where in Puerto Rico will the wedding take place?

Answer

Both our wedding ceremony and reception will be at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel in the capital San Juan. The Condado Vanderbilt Hotel is located along the beach and has multiple restaurants, a spa & fitness center, and pools on-site. The hotel address is 1055 Ashford avenue San Juan, Puerto Rico 00907. Here is a link to the hotel's website: https://www.condadovanderbilt.com/hotel/

Question

Is there a dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. We ask that guests dress in beach cocktail attire, keeping in mind our venue is in a warm, tropical setting. Please avoid mini skirts, shorts, jeans, and the color white. Feel free to wear bright colors (like pink, yellow, orange, green), bold prints, light weight fabrics - we’d love to see your chic outfits! Here is a link with ideas of what to wear to inspire you: https://www.pinterest.com/gjrosario07/gladys-jans-wedding-color-ideas/ FYI in February, the average daily temperature in Puerto Rico ranges from 70°F (21°C) to 84°F (29°C).

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding weekend will consist of two events - a beach welcome event on Saturday, February 15, 2025 and our wedding on Sunday, February 16, 2025. For the beach day, please feel free to bring your own towel and bathing suit. We are providing some tents and beach games in addition to food and drink. If you have not already RSVP'ed to our welcome event or wedding, please do so by no later than December 12, 2024. You may RSVP by clicking the 'RSVP' tab of our wedding website. The next day after our wedding on Monday is a holiday (President's Day) for some people.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Because our wedding is an intimate event, we kindly ask that only those named on the save-the-dates and invitations attend.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Whilst we love little ones, we are only able to accommodate the children of our wedding party and close family. We kindly ask that you do not bring any children who are not part of our immediate family. We hope you understand and respect our decision, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

If you would like to book a hotel room at the Condado Vanderbilt where the wedding ceremony and reception will take please, please do so via their website linked here: https://www.condadovanderbilt.com/ Other hotel accommodation options in the San Juan area include La Concha Renaissance San Juan Resort, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Juan, San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, and Sheraton Puerto Rico Resort & Casino among many others.
