Our Story
Janan and Devon met online and decided to meet in person less than a week after they began talking — a choice that felt bold, but instantly right. At their first meeting, Devon was so nervous he stumbled over nearly every word, and Janan found herself loving him even more because of it. What began as an easy connection quickly became something steady and meaningful, and it felt as though they fit together effortlessly, like pieces of a puzzle finding their place. They met in January 2025 and, within six months, knew they did not want to wait. In July, they eloped and were married at their local masjid in Atlanta, surrounded by their closest family. Their relationship is grounded in commitment, love, friendship, and curiosity. Though Devon’s work often takes him away, the distance has deepened their appreciation for one another, and while already married, Janan and Devon are excited to gather friends and family to celebrate the life they are building side by side.
