Wedding Party

We are so grateful to be surrounded by an amazing group of individuals who will share in our journey to I do! Please meet our fabulous Wedding Party!

Camille Hampton

Maid of Honor

I could not imagine walking down the aisle without my beautiful godsister Camille, as there is literally no milestone where she was not by my side. Our mothers made us family but we created a sisterhood with unforgettable memories filled with love, laughter, and joy!

Nicole Blum

Bridesmaid

Nicole is my childhood best friend and sister from another mother. Our friendship started on a pool deck when Nicole handed me her phone number on a piece of paper. From that moment we have been inseparable, from breakfast parties after morning swim practice that always consisted of Lifetime movies and Pillsbury’s flaky biscuits with strawberry jelly to now being there for each other as we cross life's milestones. Nicole’s presence in my life is irreplaceable and I am grateful to have her stand by her side.

Kelsie Roach

Bridesmaid

I had the pleasure of meeting Kelsie in Memphis, TN during the hell that is Teach for America Institute where incoming corp members learn how to become teachers. It was through this challenging time of learning how to teach that we formed an everlasting friendship. Our friendship embodies one of being there to uplift one another no matter what obstacles life brings.

Briana Dillion

Bridesmaid

Briana, my ace, the ying to my yang is one of my dearest friends and teammates from Howard University. From the first time we met on Briana's recruitment trip, our personalities meshed like two peas in a pod. Briana was also the first girlfriend of mine to meet Tastey in Memphis and has been a part of witnessing our relationship grow to this point. I am beyond grateful to have her in my corner as I become Mrs. Yusuf.

Keely Monge

Bridesmaid

Keely Marie! I had the blessing of meeting this phenomenal woman on the campus of Howard University. We were not only teammates but roommates at Howard, there is where I learned of the strength, passion, and kindness that makes Keely who she is. Our friendship is a sisterhood that has endured the tests of time, many late nights dancing the night away, and uncontrollable laughter. I am excited to have her in my village as Tastey and I become husband and wife.

Monique Major

Bridesmaid

Monique and I share an unbreakable bond formed as teammates on Howard University's Swim Team. When I was a freshman, Monique was a senior and I always looked to her for wisdom and advice, to this day that has not changed. Both educators by trade we continue to share many experiences and lots of laughter on the ins and outs of our beloved students. Our relationship like a fine wine continues to naturally evolve and grow over time. Though what has remained a constant is that Monique is a trusted confidant, faithful prayer warrior, and a compassionate listener.

Sophie Ederaine

Bridesmaid

Sophie is my cousin and though we are connected by blood we share a unique bond. We have a passion for serving children and their families, as Sophie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and I teach middle schoolers. I feel extremely blessed to have Sophie as a part of my village in my walk to the altar.

Sophia Ederaine

Bridesmaid

Sophia radiates grace and beauty and brings life to the party, you can always find her on the dance floor until last call. As my first cousin, it is more than being family that binds us together. Sophia is a truth-teller and encourager who is always available to talk through any issue. I couldn’t be happier to have my cousin whom I adore with me as I enter this next chapter.

Adib Salim

Groomsman

Adib is my older cousin but I consider him to be more of an older brother. Growing up together in Los Angeles Adib always played the role of protector and kept outsiders from messing with anyone in the family. In our childhood, we were the unstoppable dynamic duo on the basketball court, and that will be no different as I know I can depend on him for anything. I am excited to have you on my team again.

Amir Yonis

Groomsman

Amir is my younger cousin, one who I have had the pleasure of watching grow into the incredible young man and father to his sweet baby girl. His father my cousin Aba Ramzi was always someone I admired growing up and I see those same qualities present in his son. Amir and I have a passion for discussing and watching anything related to UFC and MMA. I am blessed to have this fighter in my corner.

Alaf Mohamed

Groomsman

Alaf is the family favorite and is loving, soft-spoken, and kind. He is entering his sophomore year at Long Beach State. As his older cousin I can remember changing his diaper as a baby, and picking up from school and buying him Happy Meals from McDonald’s afterward. That was the golden rule that everyone in the family knew. I am proud of the young man Alaf has grown into and I am honored to have his baby cousin along for the ride to marriage.

Magus Mohamed

Groomsman

Magus is known as Baba to his family which means grandfather in Arabic. He was nicknamed this from family because he is the spitting image of their grandfather. Magus is my beloved younger cousin and is entering his final year of undergrad at Cal-State Pomona, majoring in engineering. I am happy to have my cousin to stand by me at the altar.

Steve Millia

Groomsman

Steve is Adib’s older brother and my older cousin. He is the reason that I love reggae and Bob Marley. Growing up, Steve was always a person I respected and looked up to for his hard work and sacrifices he made for the family. I am blessed to have my family as a part of the celebration.

Ejiro Ederaine

Groomsman

Ejiro Ederaine is a younger brother I inherited. He is an intellectual and has a passion for creating. In falling in love with his sister I have had the pleasure to get to know this young man and begin a friendship

Dinir Ali

Groomsman

Dinir is a musician and his talents range from singing to producing music and playing multiple instruments like the piano, keyboard, and guitar. Throughout the course of my life, my cousin has poured into me an abundance of knowledge in how to run and operate a successful business. I’m glad I have someone who I can trust on my big day.
