It all started on Janae's birthday in 2015 at a Wesleyan soccer formal. That night, fate brought us together and we hit it off instantly. We both liked each other right away, and it didn't take long for a spark to form. Though life took us in different directions for a while, we remained close friends over the years - and the chemistry between us never faded. In January, 2020, everything changed. During a group trip to Arizona for Waste Management, we decided to take a chance on something we'd both felt for so long and started dating each other. From that moment on, our story truly began. Since then, we've built a life together filled with love and adventure. Brady welcomed Janae's cat Ozzy with open arms and we added another cat, King to the family. We bought a house, a boat, and later rescued our sweet dog Henry. Together we've traveled to different countries, 14 different states with Henry, and made countless memories together and with our shared friends. For Janae, it was always Brady since the moment they met. But after college, when they both grew and matured, she knew without a doubt he was the one. For Brady, the moment came during that trip to Arizona, when spending quality time together confirmed what he'd felt for years. Brady loves how caring, positive, and easy going Janae is. Janae admires Brady's kindness, humor, and unwavering support. The proposal was intimate and perfect. Brady took Janae to her favorite Italian restaurant in Omaha before taking a walk through the beautiful new Gene Leahy Mall. Near the water, surrounded by flowers, he got down on one knee. Their close friend Addie was there, capturing the moment in photos we'll treasure forever. It was truly the best night. Our relationship is special because of the love, laughter, and values we share. We're goofy, weird, and love joking around - and we're endlessly grateful for the little family we've built together with Ozzy, King, and Henry. Now, we're SO excited to celebrate our marriage with all of our favorite people. We can't wait to keep traveling the world, continue growing as a couple, and look forward to what the future holds - especially starting a family of our own someday.
