We can’t wait to celebrate with y’all!

They met in April of 2018, back when they were both working at Home Depot. It started with a tour of the store during orientation, and Nae spotted Drew holding it down in the self-checkout area. Something shifted. It wasn’t just a crush—it felt like a recognition. Like souls finding each other again. There was no awkward “first meeting” because honestly, Drew always felt familiar—like Nae had known him in another life. So when she got paired with him for training one Saturday, it was over. Or, as she says, “it was up and stuck.” Always bold, Nae shot her shot immediately. No last name needed. Just vibes. But Drew, being 19 and her being 17 at the time, had to shut it down. Respectfully—but firmly. She was almost an adult, but almost didn’t count. So he ghosted her (not really but he definitely stopped talking to her). Cold-blooded. 😂 But best believe—she spun the block. The day Nae turned 18, she tried again. Drew still played hard to get, but after months of deep conversations and truly getting to know each other, they finally went on their first date in September 2018. And the story began… There was a breakup in 2019. Healing and friendship in 2020. Rekindled sparks and real growth in 2021. By September 2021, they were together again—stronger, wiser, and more intentional. They’ve survived it all: Family drama, mother-in-law racism, disrespect from a parent, evictions, even periods of homelessness. But through the chaos, they chose each other—again and again. In February 2022, Nae proposed. (Yes, SHE proposed.) And on May 11, 2023, they eloped and officially became one. Now, two years into marriage, they’re finally getting the moment they deserve—a celebration of real love, resilience, and rising above the bullshit. 💍
