One of our family favorites is to stop for ice cream and watch the sunset. Make a day of it by renting bicycles to meander around Coronado Island and stop at Miguel's for Mexican. You'll likely see the military aircraft coming in and out of North Island while you're there.
Sea Kayaking is a great way to see the caves of La Jolla. You'll get to see leopard sharks, sea lions, seals and a variety of birds up close. Bring your towel and some dry clothes! You will get wet!
