Please arrive around 4:30pm as the ceremony will start at 5pm and we want to make sure you find your seat and get settled in before we begin.
We're calling it Cocktail Attire / Semi-formal. Black tie might be a bit too formal and your Canadian tuxedo should probably stay in the closet this time. Examples for women include anything from mid-thigh to ankle-length cocktail dresses, snazzy jumpsuits, elegant separates, non-demin pants, blouses, etc Examples for men include suits, sports coats, khakis, non-demin pants, tie/bowtie optional, etc
For our out of town guests, the booming metropolis of downtown Albemarle would be the most convenient place to stay with hotels and shops. Other local areas include Mount Pleasant and Concord.
Yes, both the ceremony and reception are on the same property.
The ceremony will be outside (weather cooperating) and the reception will be a mix of both inside and outside areas.
Yes, there's parking on-site, with plenty of room. If you're looking to have fun, please consider using a ride-share service.
Catering will be bbq and traditional sides, and we will have an open bar with beer and wine. No liquor.
Honestly we need to have a yard sale instead! We've both accumulated pretty much everything we need - and many duplicates! Yes, but please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony as we'll have our photographer and videographers doing their thing!
Due to limited capacity at the venue, only those listed on the RSVP site attached to the QR code on your invitation are invited. If you do feel there might be someone from your party missing, please let Jana or Jacob know though. Planning a wedding is stressful so we might have accidentally missed someone!
