Tons of trails for walking, biking, and running with pretty views of evergreen and lots of open field space. Our favorite place to walk our dog in the early morn or sunset before it gets too hot.
Walking trails all along the creek to take swims or hang out when it's hot - great for biking or trail running as well. Morrison town and Red Rocks are right below this to go check out or grab lunch.
The best deli sandwiches and easy lunch to go option or enjoy outside in downtown Golden - owned by a friend and one of our favorite summer midday stops.
Casual dive bar right on the creek to grab a beer or lunch / dinner outside on the patio. Always a funny crowd here.
Perfect meet up spot with friends with lots of parking and Evergreen lake across the street! Grab a coffee and walk the loop around the lake in the morning.

This is a great route for walking, running, or pushing a stroller for a few miles through a lovely wooded creekside park. The route as mapped here makes use of the Clear Creek Trail and the Grant Ferry Trail. You can hike this route in either direction and if you're looking for a longer or shorter hike, this route can be easily modified to fit your needs.
