They met in Pioneer Square and took their coffee to go. It was there in Waterfall Garden Park, surrounded by the smell of chlorine, that Bobby would say, "You're beautiful". He was surprised by the words that were coming out of his mouth. Because at that one perfect moment, the words he was saying matched his feelings exactly. Unable to part ways, they took dueling conference calls in Bobby's co-working space, and then just like that—the date was over. Bobby off to Hawaii and Jana back home to continue her life. Since that day, on November 2, 2015 they continued their romance. Jana admiring the time Bobby was having in a tropical paradise and Bobby only really thinking about how to get back to Seattle for another date. Bobby returned to Seattle with no plan other than to see the girl he had fallen for. In the moment Jana opened the gift Bobby had brought back for her, a vintage Hawaiian shirt, she knew sitting across from her was the love she so wanted to find. From that moment on they were inseparable. They spent the following weeks without a plan, knowing only that they wanted to be with one another. Bobby realized he had been looking for a home and that this is where he wanted to be. Jana and Bobby fell in love.
