All transportation will be handled by our lovely wedding planner, Chiara. San Galgano is about 40 minutes south from our Villa in rural Toscana. The abandoned monastery, cared for by the Italian Government these days, is a 1,000 year old historic site belonging to the Italian government since is was an abbey built by Cistercian monks for Saint Galgano Giudotti - it is Italian Gothic architecture. It was one of the most powerful places in the 13th century, and many trued along the way to renovate it, including a Cardinal. It is THE most visited place in Tuscany.
