Café Du Monde
One of the things we miss the most that we cannot find ANYWHERE else in the United States: the one and only, best, original beignets. Decatur is the original location, so there will be longer lines. If you have transportation, our favorite location is in City Park, shorter lines, fresher beignets, and great views of the park.
BEARCAT CBD
The BEST brunch food in the area! Healthy and unhealthy (good cat and bad cat menu). No reservations. GO EARLY, as there’s always a line.
Basin Seafood and Spirits
One of our favorite places for seafood. They have a great happy hour if you can make it! I recommend all the appetizers to share. They have oysters here too!
Pizza Delicious
Our favorite thin crust pizza in New Orleans, best fresh! Just a few blocks from where we used to live in the Bywater area.

Thai x NOLA fusion food. All the dishes are bursting with flavor. Amazing cocktails!

Our favorite Vegan restaurant. We aren’t Vegan, but this restaurant keeps us coming back with it’s innovative and creative dishes. Don’t forget the cocktails!
Hansen's Sno-Bliz
The best snow balls in all of NOLA. They create all of their syrups from scratch. Long lines that move quickly. Our favorite treat in the summer heat! Our favorite flavors: Satsuma add crushed strawberries, Thai Tea, Passion Fruit

Best for Happy Hour raw oysters on the half shell. Don’t skip the foie gras.
Parkway Bakery & Tavern
Best for fried shrimp and oyster po-boys. For our non seafood eating friends, they have a debris poboy which has roast beef with all the fixins.
Drago's Seafood Restaurant - Hilton New Orleans Riverside
Favorite place for Chargrilled oysters! Popular spot so there may be a wait! Metairie location will have the most availabilities, downtown New Orleans will have longer waits.
