What should I know?

You will need to purchase tickets to the Maryland Renaissance Festival for September 27th in order to attend the wedding. The wedding will be inside the festival grounds at the chapel. Festival tickets go on sale August 4th at 10AM EST. https://rennfest.com/tickets/ (If you want a multi-day pass, those go on sale earlier, on July 7th) If you want to attend, we ask that you set a reminder to buy tickets on August 4th. It's very possible that the tickets sell out quickly. If you do not get tickets, you will not be able to attend. Please plan on wearing a costume or renting one inside the festival. Gifts are not necessary. Purchasing tickets and accomodating your own travel is gift enough to us. We will not be providing any food, drink, or entertainment outside of the 30-minute wedding. Since the wedding is inside the festival grounds, you will have access to all of the vendors and events that the Renaissance Festival has to offer. Please make the day fun for yourself! If you cannot make it, please don't worry about it. We are not stressing about attendance. The entire wedding is designed to be as stress-free and responsibility-free as possible.
