We met at Reen, Mya and Shyla's elementary school basketball games. We were both on different paths in our lives. Years later we found ourselves at the Baptiste's dining room table and started to connect.

Jesse was randomly harassing me to go to Swallow Falls while at Deep Creek Lake. I wasn't in the mood to go so early and I didn't want to leave our 6 month old baby behind with all the hungover people (Jesse insisted on leaving him). I finally give in and we go walk around the falls - back and forth, back and forth before he finally worked up the nerve to get down on one knee (with the falls in the background). Fortunately the whole event was captured by The Stalker at Swallow Falls, Matt (you can find his photos in the Gallery). We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
