When should I RSVP by?

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We would never turn down a thoughtful gift, but we honestly don't need anything. If you would prefer to gift us something, please consider donating toward our honeymoon.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The reception is first (backwards, I know!), and dinner will be served at 7:30. There will be games and fun to be had, so please feel free to arrive any time after 7pm. We plan to start the ceremony at dark, probably around 9:30pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress comfortably, while remembering this is a wedding (please no jeans). This is an outside venue with dirt and rock paths-- nothing is paved. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if it rains.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please limit your guests to immediate family or a plus one, and include the number in your party when you RSVP. Please leave children under five years old with a sitter.

As it is a late ceremony, please leave children under five with a sitter.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are hotels available in Vermilion, Norwalk, Sandusky, and Oberlin.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is grass parking available for both - they are the same venue.

Why is your reception first?

Answer

James and I were enthralled with the idea of a night wedding, but we also wanted to spend time with our family and close friends having fun at our wedding! It'd be a very late reception if we did it after the ceremony, so we decided to be a little unorthodox and have the reception first. :)
