FAQs

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be at Kathi Diamant and Byron LaDue's home: 506 21st Street, San Diego, CA 92102. The ceremony and reception will take place in a paved outdoor garden.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30 pm. There is only street parking and seating is limited, so we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Parking is only available on the street in the neighborhood. We recommend taking a taxi or using a rideshare service like Lyft or Uber.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress should be garden or cocktail attire (suit and tie, cocktail dress, floral dress, linen pants and collared shirt, formal slacks or pantsuits).

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Unfortunately, since this is a private home, the venue is not wheelchair accessible. There is a small set of stairs down to the ceremony location, as well as stairs into the house to access restroom facilities.

Question

Will there be plenty of seats for the ceremony? And will food be served as a formal sit-down dinner?

Answer

Our wedding is standing room only. We will have some seating for the ceremony, and we will have some cocktail tables for the reception. Arrive early to secure a seat and wear comfortable shoes.

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

We will be serving Mexican food. Feast upon a variety of taco options.

Question

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?

Answer

We will be able to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free diets.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered at Honeyfund and Amazon to help make our dream honeymoon of visiting Tokyo, Japan a reality.

Question

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Answer

Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled some of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area.
