Jamin & Avril met at the young ages of 8 and 9 years old. They were not the bestest friends from the very beginning but somehow always found themselves stuck having to spend time together. When they began entering their teenage years , their friendship blossomed and they formed a deeper connection than most. Avril says she felt as if she had found her best friend within Jamin during that time. Things started to shift when Avril’s family moved to North Carolina in 2017. The two missed each other daily and would find themselves stuck to their phone all day long. They grew closer despite the distance and began growing romantic feelings towards one another. Fast forward to December 2021, after years of stolen glances and excuses to see one another, Jamin took Avril’s parents to dinner and asked Avril to be his girlfriend. After years of long distance, Jamin moved to North Carolina to be closer to Avril in May 2024. On July 21st of that year, Jamin got down on one knee and asked for Avril’s hand in marriage.
