After being asked to ring announcer for Justin’s wrestling promotion WCF that is where Jamilla and Justin first met. After the not so polite nudge of mutual friends and exchanging numbers, they got to know each other and found one thing they had in common…. wrestling. In between classes at CCBC, Jamilla and Justin would hang out and talk, vent, laugh, and cry about everything. It went from texting to phone or Skype calls all day and night, hanging out every day, and sometimes cancelling plans with friends to see each other. On September 24, 2015, we made our relationship official and have been inseparable ever since.

After spending Christmas dinner with our families Justin said he had one final gift to give me. He drove and after we were about 5 minutes away from our destination he told me to close my eyes. Of course I wanted to peek but he checked and asked every so often to make sure I wasn't. After he stopped the car and parked I opened my eyes and realized we were at CCBC where our relationship started. He said my last gift was under his Santa hat and I lifted it up to find a box. I handed it to him and he told me I make him the happiest man in the world and asked me to spend the rest of our lives together as husband and wife. In between crying and "OMG!" I said yes.
