Washington state has lifted all Covid mandates and the state is fully 'open.' That said, WA State guidance which is aligned with CDC guidance, is that those who are not vaccinated and attending an event should either a) wear a mask or b) get tested (and have a negative test result) within 72 hours of the event. If you have chosen not to get vaccinated, please, PLEASE get tested or wear a mask to our wedding. We are so excited to celebrate with everyone but we want to make sure to do so safety! Reach out to Jamie or Eric with any questions.
Our attire request is Dressy Casual! Here is a website that may be a helpful reference, and feel free to lean to the more casual side of Dressy Casual: (link not "live," copy-paste) https://www.invitationsbydawn.com/content/wedding-dress-code-101/
While there is an entrance to the venue off of 1st, we'll be using the back entrance on Utah Ave S,. We'll be sure to have signage to help you out, but wanted to give a heads up here.
There is quite a bit of street parking around the venue, and a few paid lots in the vicinity as well. The venue does not have a parking lot for our use. We suggest you give yourself a few extra minutes to find parking! Also! There's a pre-season Seahawks game at 7. We don't think this will impact parking, but could impact drive time. Give yourself an extra 15-20 minutes!
Seattle weather is usually quite enjoyable in August - warm but not too hot! We'll have both inside and outside areas at our venue, though we'll be dining and dancing inside. Feel free to bring along sunglasses for the roof in the afternoon, and a light coverup for the roof in the evening.
