WELCOME TO OUR LOVE STORY

Jamie and Austin's romance blossomed at Mt. Vernon High School, where a love of music brought them together at the school talent show in 2012. Jamie sang, Austin played the guitar -- a pastime they still enjoy today. The pair had been friends before, but that performance left Jamie wanting something more. Little did she know Austin had the same idea. Their first date took them on a walk around Hamilton Town Center and to see a scary movie -- or at least, that was the plan. Turns out 16-year-old Austin wasn't old enough to get in! They sheepishly headed back to Jamie's sister's house, and sitting there in the driveway, Austin asked Jamie to be his girlfriend. They took a spin around an open field on four-wheelers to celebrate. 7 years, 6 pets and 17 Marvel movies later, on Jan. 18, 2019, Austin asked Jamie to be his wife. Their someday has arrived!

Jamie had just celebrated her 25th birthday the day before. She always joked about throwing herself a surprise party because she had never had one. Low and behold, Austin had one planned with the help of her best girl friends. In the beginning of the night, Austin took Jamie out to eat at Mesh, a restaurant they frequented on special occasions. On their way home, Jamie was ready to put on her pajama's and watch Iron Fist after a long day. They walked into to their house and to Jamie's surprise her living room was packed full of their favorite people. She was making her rounds as champagne was being passed out for a planned toast. Not even ten minutes into the surprise party (it seems Austin may have been a little nervous) he got down on one knee, with the ring box upside down - if you know, you know - and proposed to the love of his life. She said yes (DUH) and they partied the rest of the night with their very best friends. It was a perfect night that will ALWAYS be remembered.

April 25th was not a date they originally planned for but once they picked it, it stuck. Once it was announced, they realized quickly that this date had a lot more meaning than they had thought. Jamie's parents got married on April 23rd, 1985 and have been happily married for 34 years. Jamie's grandparents got married on April 27th, 1957 and were married for 50 years. This date will always have special meaning to them. || Also... "What's your idea of a perfect date?" -- "I'd have to say April 25th. Because it's not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket." - Miss Congeniality EDIT: On March 24th we made the heart-breaking decision to postpone our wedding. We wanted to make sure, with everything going on in the world, that we kept our loved ones healthy and safe. We were very fortunate that ALL of our vendors were available on our new date, which made for a very easy transition. Thank you all for being so flexible and understanding during this hard time and we cannot wait to celebrate in a few short months.
