Growing up, we lived right down the street from each other. Our parents would alternate babysitting each other (along with Jamie's twin sister Alexis) and our grandmothers Fayrene and Nerene were the best of friends. Throughout grade school and college, we lost touch besides from the occasional wave as we would see each other around the neighborhood. In summer of 2021, we reconnected by matching on the dating app Hinge and discovered we had both moved back to the same neighborhood. Soon thereafter we went on our first date. In the same weekend we went on three dates; we were having so much fun hanging out. The rest is history. In summer of 2022, we found out we were pregnant with a baby boy. Although surprised, we couldn't have been more excited. We bought our first home in fall of 2022 and had so much fun making changes and getting it ready for the baby's arrival. In March of 2023 we went on our babymoon in Treasure Island, Florida. On the beach our first day there, Jamie proposed. A few days later before we left to come back home, we decided to elope by ourselves at the Pinellas County Courthouse. On May 8, 2023, we welcomed our perfect baby boy Bowen Pierce Hughes and have been extremely blessed with an angel baby. We can't wait to celebrate our love story with you all!
