Ceremony

10:30 am - 11:00 am

Getting There & What to Wear

We'll all be headed to the beach together from Cruz Bay by open-air taxis. Taxi's will be reserved for wedding guests to get to Oppenheimer Beach for a 9:30am departure from the taxi parking area at the ferry dock. You can identify yourself as part of the O'Brien/ Sullivan Wedding Party. It's about a 15-20 minute ride, and part of the adventure! Heads-up: the taxis are open style (so hold onto your hats), the roads are a little bumpy, and the drivers in St. John keep things... exciting. Consider it part of the island experience! Pack your bathing suit and any other items you want to bring for a fun beach day with you for the ceremony :) See "Beach Day Party" for what will available at the beach.

Beach Day Party

11:00 am - 4:00 pm

After the Ceremony: Beach Party

Once we say "I do," we'll kick off a beach day celebration! Bring your bathing suit, towel (we will provide when you land on island), sunscreen, and anything else you'd like to enjoy the sun and sand! If you don't have your own sunscreen, some will be available! We will have beach chairs dropped off for the day, and access to small private bathrooms at the beach just for our group- perfect for changing before you jump in the water. Food will be provided for our beach day from our favorite local deli. Please share any food restrictions or allergies when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly. It will be a relaxed afternoon of swimming, lounging, eating and celebrating together!

Post Beach Day Dinner

6:45 pm - 9:00 pm

After our beach celebration, we'll gather later that eventing for a laid-back dinner together. This was originally planned as our Welcome Dinner, since we thought the ceremony would be the following day- but with our change of plans, it's become the perfect post-beach celebration meal. Dress however you'd like- come in your ceremony outfit, a sundress, or something comfy after the beach. No dress code, just good food and good company. The restaurant is right in Cruz Bay so you can walk right there! If you are staying in another area of St. John you may need to taxi or have a rented car. Parking in Cruz Bay is sometimes tough.

Reception Dinner at Morgan's Mango

8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The day after the wedding , we'll gather for a special dinner at Morgan's Mango, one of St. John's favorite restaurants. Think of this as our reception celebration- a chance to share a beautiful meal together in a more formal setting (but still very us). There's no formal dress code- wear whatever you are comfortable in- but since it's a nice restaurant, feel free to dress up a little if you'd like. The restaurant is a short walk from Cruz Bay. If you are staying in another area of St. John you may need to taxi or have a rented car. Parking in Cruz Bay is sometimes tough.
