FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date or guest?

Answer

Due to the venue's limited space, invitations are for specified guests only. If your invitation says “and guest,” then yes, you may bring someone. We appreciate your support and understanding.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

A rapid reply is always appreciated. If you plan on attending, go ahead and let us know! Kindly RSVP through our website no later than April 28, 2024. We know this date is early, but we must submit our final numbers to the venue and caterer by late April.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We are requesting "garden party formal" attire. Dresses, suits, dress slacks, and dress shirts are expected. Ties and jackets are not required. The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors and outdoors, so a light jacket may be needed if the evening is cool. You will be walking on gravel, grass, and an uneven stone patio, so thin heels are not recommended.

Question

What time should I arrive for the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 4:00 p.m. Please plan on arriving at The Marmalade Lily between 3:30 and 3:45 p.m. This will allow you plenty of time to park and mingle with other guests before being seated for the ceremony. Cars arriving after the ceremony begins will be held near the entrance to the venue.

Question

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

The Marmalade Lily has plenty of parking. We will also run a shuttle service from our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn - Loveland) to the wedding venue. Guests not staying at our hotel are welcome to use Uber or Lyft if they don’t wish to drive.

Question

Is smoking or vaping allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely NO smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed anywhere on the premises of The Marmalade Lily.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos of your wedding?

Answer

Our professional photographer will capture the ceremony so you can relax and enjoy every moment with us. We request that all devices be turned off during the ceremony. You are welcome to take (and share with us!) your own photos and videos during the reception.

Question

I have a food allergy. Can I make a special request?

Answer

We are having a buffet dinner and are doing our best to be mindful of dietary restrictions. If you are concerned about allergens, please direct your inquiry to the catering manager during the reception.

Question

What is the weather in Cincinnati like in mid-June?

Answer

The average low and high temperatures are 61 and 83. In the event of rain, the schedule of events for the wedding and reception may change slightly.
