We are getting married!

This is the story on how we met, Sam came into the salon that I worked at and was talking to his stylist Lexi on how he needed to find a girl. Well Lexi said “I have a girl Jamie”. She gave him my instagram and he got my Snapchat from there. We started talking that day. The next day we were talking and I was eating a GO GURT and he said that “he hasn’t had one is a very long time”. I then replied “it’s even frozen, they are 10 times better that way”. I then invited him to my apartment in Glenwood around 9 at night. He came over for a GO GURT, he never got one because he wouldn’t stop talking. We just sat up talking until 1 in the morning, we both had to work in the morning. We now call Lexi our Cupid. 🩷

Our relationship went very fast. One night Sam came over to my apartment after he got done playing poker, we were just hanging out and then he asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes.

The Thursday before he asked me he went up to his parents house was like you can meet me here and I remember that I got so mad because I didn’t understand why he couldn’t wait for me to get off work to go to his parents. But now I know he had to sneak the ring into his dad’s truck. He had to have it at his parents because I’m a snooper. The night before he asked me, I was getting so mad at him because he wasn’t buying any ring and we always talked about it. I knew that we were on the same page. Sam and I were up at the cabin that his family always stays at the third weekend of July every year. While we were eating supper he was ignoring me and leaving me, (didn’t even eat by me). After supper his dad and him went to the truck to get the ring but I thought they just had to go smoke. When Sam was done ignoring me he showed me around the resort, told me where they used to have their camper at, told me everything about this resort but I didn’t think of anything of it. When we were walking down by the water his family was out on the deck of their cabin, I just thought they were enjoying the view. When we got up to the pier the view was beautiful but I thought he was going to push me into the water so I started to run away. He then says I have to ask you something, you’re ruining the moment. He had his speech thought out but I ruined it because I ran away. But then he got on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said yes otherwise we wouldn’t be here today.
