Dana is Jamie's older sister. Even though Jamie was annoying when they were younger, Dana let her hang out with her and her friends. Dana is constantly going on crazy adventures and inspires Jamie to go on fun trips of her own. Jamie loves visiting Dana and her adorable dog, Luke, in Seattle.
Jack Travis
Best Man
Jack has known Sam since elementary school. He will hold the record as Sam's longest-tenured roommate until Jamie takes over the title in 2023. On their first night living together, Jack and Sam were convinced their stove was leaking gas, so they went out for dinner. Turns out there was just an onion rotting behind the oven. They did not re-sign the lease for that apartment.
Maggie Chandler

Maggie is Sam's younger sister. Jamie loves eating the delicious ice cream Maggie makes and they bond over their shared love of dogs. Once Maggie finished her tour as a Planters Peanutter, she became a regular for dinner at Sam and Jamie's apartment, an activity that provided a bit of much-needed normalcy during the pandemic.
Joe Chandler

Sam's little brother and two-time roommate. The first stint of living together began the day Joe was born and continued into Sam's college years. Then, in the summer of 2018, Joe moved to Madison for a few months and into the bedroom next to Sam's. Thanks to Jack, Spencer, Ryan and others, Joe learned more in those 2+ months than he did during the rest of his college days combined.
Mia Rosenthal

Jamie and Mia have been friends since elementary school. Jamie spent a lot of time with Mia's family growing up and still loves to stop by and hang out with them whenever she is in town. They stayed best friends while living in different states for the past 10 years through frequent texts, calls, and visits.
Jon Hintz

Jon became friends with Sam in high school due largely to lack of options on both sides. The duo lived together junior year and, despite Jon's best efforts, Sam was able to keep Jon alive the whole time. They played soccer together most of their lives and resumed doing so last year when Jon moved back to Madison. The brand of soccer is much slower and more injury riddled than it used to be.
Stefanie Sparrow

Stefanie and Jamie have also been friends since elementary school. Stefanie's love of frogs was matched only by Jamie's monkey obsession when they were younger. The pair traveled to Thailand, along with Jamie's friend Molly, in 2019, one of the most unique and fun trips Jamie has ever been on.
TJ Hogan

TJ worked with Sam at ESPN Madison. Sam pretended to get sick at work in order to sneak out for a Brewers playoff game the day the above picture was taken. The Crew won and the pair avoided being on TV, so it was an all around successful day.
Nina Vujasinovic

Nina was Jamie's random college roommate freshman year at U of I. They clicked right away and spent their four years of college having a ton of fun, even living together again senior year. Jamie has been able to visit Nina multiple times in both Las Vegas and Denver post college.

Another ESPN Madison alum, Tony was a mentor and advocate for Sam during the radio days. The pair even did a podcast together during quarantine which was thoroughly enjoyed by all 6 people who listened to it.
Victoria Kim

Victoria is one of Jamie's best friends from college and they were roommates senior year. Victoria has visited Jamie more than a handful of times during the past 6 years in Madison and they always love going to the farmers market, cooking, baking and taking care of Jamie's foster puppies.
Spencer Strong

Spencer and Sam became friends in college after knowing of each other in high school. During the years that both had Tuesdays off, the duo would frequently go on Movie Man Dates. Both Jamie and Annie, Spencer's fiancé, will try to replicate the magic of those days for as long as they live.
Esperanza Shenstone

Jamie and Esperanza (Es) met while studying abroad in the Netherlands during their junior year of college. They quickly became inseparable, taking classes, cooking, exploring, and traveling all over Europe together. They spent a lot of time meeting at Jamie's parents house post-college when they lived only a few hours from each other.

Ryan and Sam went to high school and played soccer together for a year. (A year that Ryan sometimes forgets apparently.) They were roommates for a year post-college and still like to go out for a beer or 11 when they can.
