On November 28th 2018 Pat messaged Jamie on instagram and said "How do we have so many common friends but we don't know each other??" A few weeks later Pat asked Jamie on a first date in Truckee. They went to Taco Jalisco's for Margaritas and later went to Bar of America. He kissed Jamie at the end of night not knowing she was 17 turning 18 the following month (probably because Jamie was buying drinks at the bar with a fake ID). Jamie would go on to date other people but Pat was persistent in asking to take her on more dates over the next 3 years. Fast forward to May of 2020, Jamie decided to give Pat a chance and became inseparable ever since. In October of 2020 Pat asked Jamie to be his girlfriend outside of a bar in Georgia. 2 months later he bought them a house in Spanish Springs Nevada. Pat became the best dog dad to Jamie's German Shepard Husky, Bentley that she got when she was 18. They added their 4th family member, Ammo, a Golden Retreiver. Pat became a very special family member to Jamie's family. Jamie's dad Jason was diagnosed with Colon cancer in May of 2023. Pat took Jason to almost every Chemo treatment. Pat took Jason to Las Vegas to watch his favorite NFL team the Raiders to ask for permission to marry Jamie. In December Jason's health took a drastic turn for the worse so Jamie and Pat moved in to help care for him. February 28th, 2024 Jason passed away. On April 12th 2024 Pat took Jamie to Inglenook Winery in Napa, CA and asked Jamie to marry him. They spent the whole weekend at an Airbnb with all their family and got to celebrate the most exciting next chapter of their life. Jamie and Pat feel that god made them for each other and feel extremely fortunate to have found their soulmates at such a young age. With the passing of Jamie's dad Jason, Pat's dad Bob and Pat's aunt Tobie, they are reminded every single day to spend as much time as they can with each other and to love each other deeply. They couldn't be more excited to get married and spend the whole weekend with their closest friends and family!
