FAQs

Question

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE WELCOME DRINKS WHITE PARTY?

Answer

The welcome party is a white party theme, so guests are encouraged to wear all-white! Women: White summer dresses or separates are perfect Men: A white top paired with a neutral (khaki) pant or shorts! Extra points to those that wear linen and it can be anything from casual to cocktail!

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Summer Formal For men, a suit or dress pants with a button-down shirt is perfect (coats recommended, ties optional). For women, dresses (either midi or full-length) or dressy separates are great options. ***Since the celebration will take place outdoors on grass, we recommend opting for block heels rather than skinny heels to ensure you can enjoy the evening without worrying about sinking in the grass!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

The venue offers on-site parking for up to 50 vehicles. Guests who prefer to drive are welcome to park at the venue — and if you’re able to carpool, we highly encourage it! However, we kindly encourage guests to limit driving whenever possible. Complimentary shuttles will be available to and from the north-end ferry dock, as well as for select on-island drop-offs, to make transportation simple, safe, and convenient for everyone.

Question

What if I’m not staying on Vashon Island?

Answer

No problem! We’ll be providing transportation on the wedding day to and from the north-end ferry dock for guests who walk on, so you can sit back, enjoy the ride, and focus on celebrating with us.

Question

Are there any ride-share apps like Uber on the island?

Answer

Ride shares like Uber and Lyft aren’t available on Vashon, so we encourage you to plan ahead for transportation! Please reach out to us if you have any further questions on this!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we adore your kids, our wedding will be kid-free. Think of it as your excuse for a well-deserved night off—come ready to celebrate!
