Our first thought on attire: somewhere between 80's prom and cocktail attire. We want you to be comfortable and be your fabulous selves, but don't be afraid to kick it up a notch... bright pink dress? Go for it! Killer suit that's been begging to be worn? Fabulous! Ladies, when it comes to shoes... the ceremony is close to the parking area so there won't be a lot of walking if you are going to wear heels. That said, the ceremony is also going to be on concrete and it will be a short walk to the reception space on the second floor (there are stairs or elevators available). If we are inside/outside as planned so far, it's still a concrete patio with a mix of carpet and hard surface in the building where the food, restrooms, etc... are located.
First, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and send-off are all outside. The weather is pretty much guaranteed to be beautiful so that's a plus! Ceremony: Even though the ceremony is outside, chairs will be spaced apart in two's. Please wear your masks when interacting with others, maintain a safe distance, and always ask before hugging, shaking hands, fist-bumping, toe-tapping, etc...(even if you're related) and always use sanitizer after doing so. We will be providing masks (customized, of course) and sanitizer upon your arrival. Cocktail hour/send-off: the bar will be on the patio with high-tops and we are asking that the venue leave some of their small tables out there as well. Reception: this will be inside, yes (music, food, cake, the usual). We will only be seating 6 people per table and there is a seating chart for guidance. The facility does require that masks be worn when not seated inside. This includes while dancing since technically you'll be up and out of your seat.
