Jamie and Myles met in September of 2016 at a party in Brockport, NY where they both attended college at the time. Myles explains, “I saw her across the room and just had to talk to her.” Funny enough, Jamie gave Myles a fake name when he introduced himself to her. They chatted for quite a bit but then parted ways. The next day, at the drink fountain in the dining hall - they both looked over while pouring their drinks and saw, you guessed it, each other. It felt like fate. They shared a smile and finished pouring their drinks. Jamie returned to her friends and said, “I think I have to tell him my real name.” They officially began dating on November 27, 2016. They both followed their own paths when it came to school and work but always prioritized their growing relationship. Myles and Jamie moved into an apartment together, where they still currently live, in Buffalo, NY in June of 2022. In the spring of 2024, Myles and Jamie were at their favorite coffee shop discussing their dreams for the future. It was there that the couple smiled over the thought of marriage. In July of 2024, Myles formally proposed to Jamie at the Bellagio Hotel in front of the fountains in Las Vegas, Nevada.
