When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that we receive your RSVP no later than May 17th.

Where can we make overnight accommodations?

Answer

Overnight accommodations can be made through our room block at Hotel Goodwin. The Hotel Room Block is available for booking until May 14th, 2025. See the Travel Section of this website for more information. It is recommended to request a early check in time of 2:00PM so that you have plenty of time to settle in and catch the shuttle bus at 3:25 and 3:55.

Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotel?

Answer

Yes, a limo shuttle will be available for transportation to and from the ceremony and reception. Pickup times from hotel to ceremony: 3:25PM 3:55PM Pick up times from reception back to hotel: 9:30PM 10:15PM 11:15PM

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire. Please no jeans. Since part of the Wedding Day will be outside / on grass, please be conscious of shoe choices (chunky heels, wedges, and flats will be your best choice).

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

As we celebrate the joining of our two families, we would love nothing more than for you to come and celebrate with your family! Children are welcome at all wedding celebration activities for those whose invitations included family.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, rain or shine (unless a torrential downpour happens, then it will be indoors). If it rains, umbrellas will be available. Please be conscious of shoe choice as we will be on grass (no stilettoes, please! Chunky heels, wedges, or flats will be your best choice). Cocktail Hour will also be outside, weather permitting. Dinner will be outdoors in a clear-top tent. Reception will be indoors / outdoors. Dancefloor and social areas will be indoors in the Barn. People may also mingle outdoors on the patio area.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

Dinner is Backyard BBQ style. Pizza will also be provided as a late night snack. If there are any dietary restrictions, please make sure to indicate on the RSVP so that we can accommodate.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, wine, beer, and mixed well drinks will be included in the open bar during cocktail hour and after dinner. Cash bar will be available during dinner.

What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

The wedding ceremony starts at 4:30PM. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior. The last shuttle leaves from the hotel at 3:55PM which will give you a 4:15PM arrival time. Parking is available onsite if you choose to drive to the wedding location instead.

What time will the reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

Music will end at 11PM. Last call will also be at 11PM. People are welcome to hangout until the last shuttle at 11:15PM. There is currently no after-party plans.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding

Answer

We kindly ask that no photos be taken during the wedding ceremony, as it is an unplugged ceremony. There will be a designated moment during the ceremony where you can take photos if desired. We do have a dedicated time at the end of the ceremony for photos to be taken, and photos may also be taken at any time for the remainder of the evening.
