We’re getting married!

We met while working at the Humane Society in Durango Colorado. Michael was working as an animal protection officer, and Jamie was the shelter supervisor. A year later we moved to Washington together!

Our families had spent a summer weekend together in Washington. On the ferry ride back to Seattle, Michael got down on one knee and asked Jamie to marry him, with all our family there! It was a wonderful day! The best day ever.

We love living here! Washington has truly become home for us. Most days we still can’t believe we are surrounded by such beauty, and how many endless places there are to explore here. We are so excited for all the future adventures that await us!

We want you to know your health and safety is the most important thing. We understand if traveling at this time is not an option, and last minute cancellations are okay! If you are still able to attend, please know that it is a small wedding and the venue is outside with plenty of room to be socially distant. Masks will be welcome and provided!
