We recommend flying into Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) — it’s small, easy to navigate, and only about 10 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara, and 40 minutes from Santa Ynez. The airport offers direct flights from major hubs like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Denver, and Dallas. Santa Ynez Valley is about a 45-minute scenic drive from Santa Barbara. You can rent a car at the airport or use a ride service like Uber or Lyft (availability can vary, so plan ahead if you're not driving). The route takes you through beautiful mountain passes and wine country.
