The reception will be held in the Lakeside Ballroom on the lower level of the Merriweather Lakehouse hotel in Columbia, Maryland.
Cocktail hour begins promptly at 6:00 PM, followed by a seated dinner and dancing. We recommend arriving a few minutes before 6:00 PM to take advantage of the full cocktail hour.
Yes! There is a free, multi-level parking garage located directly in front of the hotel.
Yes! The hotel, ballroom, and restrooms are all fully accessible and ADA compliant.

Yes! We have a room block at the Merriweather Lakehouse hotel including several rooms for Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11, 2025. We’re gratefully accepting checks and cash gifts, which can be sent via Zelle to jamieandmelony@gmail.com. A card box will also be available at the reception.
While this will be an adults-focused celebration, we’ve extended the option to a few of our closest family members to bring their children. Any invited child will be specifically included on the invitation and will require an RSVP. Outside of those few, the celebration is intended to be an adult event. We truly appreciate your understanding.
Similar to children, all plus ones will be specifically stated on the invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, please be sure they RSVP as well.
