Jamie and Madi met in May of 2023. Jamie saw a photo of Madi on the WSU Class of '27 Instagram page, then added her on Snapchat. They met in person in June at Turner Falls Park, and on June 29th, Jamie asked Madi to be his girlfriend. On May 8th, 2026, Jamie proposed to Madi at Turner Falls Park.
