Mother of the Bride
Debbie is a heck of a singer and would sing live on the radio every Sunday morning before church services along with her mother, Irma Ruth and sister, Donna. Jerry Lee Lewis used to come over to visit, jam on the piano, and eat dinner at her grandmother's house back in the 60's when he was in the Shoals area with his band to play a show. She raised Kristie to appreciate the power of music, to perfect her talents, and to always do her best. Kristie likes to make Debbie laugh by making jokes in the car, embarrassing her in public, and doing impersonations. Poor Debbie. *See photo.
Donna Cain
Mother of the Groom
Donna did a great job raising Jamie. She brought him up to be kind, strong, loving and compassionate. She held her career as a nurse, but has since retired and spends many valuable hours with her children and grandchildren. She collected some fantastic music and albums from growing up in the 60's and 70's, and let Kristie and Jamie have her entire collection; many of those tunes you'll hear at the wedding. Donna and Terry have been married for 44 years, and Kristie and Jamie are set on living and loving for that long as well.
Roger Dodd
Father of the Bride
Roger is an avid Historian and a seasoned outdoorsman; the knowledge and skills he has attained from both of these interests he has passed on to Kristie. Years ago on a hunting trip with his cousin in the mountains of Tennessee, he heard a thunderous scream and growl that he identifies as neither animal nor human. Was it Bigfoot? Maybe. We're just glad it didn't attack and carry Roger off into the wilderness. *See photo.

Father of the Groom
Terry raised Jamie never to let anyone get something over on him and to stand his ground, no matter what the situation. You'll get that if you ever have the chance to listen to Terry tell a telemarketing scammer off over the phone, lol. Terry spends much of his time with Donna and his children and grandchildren. He let Jamie borrow some of his clothes from the 70's, and you'll see those threads in their engagement pictures. Groovy, man.
Jeff Borden
Honor Attendant
Jeff is Kristie's stepfather. He's always supportive and takes very good care of her mother. Jeff is a Social Studies High School teacher, a baseball player, basketball referee, and avid golfer. And did somebody mention Alabama Football? Hey Jeff, give us a "Roll Tide!"
Jeremy Cain
Groomsman
Jeremy is Jamie's younger brother. They both love the game of Poker and Jeremy is always trying to get Jamie to the casino to play for 72 hours straight. He's also the Deputy Sheriff of Lauderdale County, so you better watch it.
Lt. Col. Ed Yeilding
Groomsman
Ed is Jamie's Godfather. He is also known as the "Fastest Man in the World", by flying the Blackbird SR-71 from San Diego to Washington D.C. in little more than an hour. He accomplished this task by donning a space suit and flying up into the Stratosphere. Nothing quite as cool as that will be happening at the wedding, but maybe we can get him to dance to 'Spirit In The Sky' by Norman Greenbaum?
Bob England
Officiant
Bob England has a very engaging personality, and has many stories and adventures to tell you about. Being the grand nephew of Lefty from the famed Poncho and Lefty, I guess so, right? He is a retired Professor of History and a career long guide and leader in the Outward Bound Wilderness School. Kristie and Jamie were honored when, at his own birthday party over a round of bourbon, Bob offered to marry them. Talk about proposals!
Hal Hardee
Groomsman
Hal was a drill seargent in the U.S. Marines. Get him to holler for ya and you'll see what we mean...wow. Hal is hubby to LuAnne, one of our beautiful bridesmaids, has an entertaining personality, and has been a great friend to Jamie for years. He also happens to be great at throwing parties and building bonfires. We'd have him build one for the wedding, but they'd thow us off the Mountain.
Saurabh Mehrotra
Groomsman
Saurabh is Kristie’s brother in law, but more like a real bona-fide brother. He also happens to be Father of the Century to 4 beautiful boys, ages 5 to 13. Saurabh is a longtime professional in business management and has held positions all over the world. He originates from Northern India and is the son of two of the most loving and amazing people you'd ever want to meet, Kshama and Sudhir. Sudhir is a retired 5 star General in the Indian army. Saurabh is very engaging, funny, and will go out of his way to help if you ever need anything.
Silas Mehrotra
Ring Bearer
Little Silas is Kristie's 5 year old nephew. She was there during his birth, making pictures of the whole thing. Kristie says it was the most precious, special, and moving thing she has ever been a part of. Silas makes straight A's in school, has lots of friends, even a little girlfriend....but, he won't tell you her name, it's a secret.

Seth is Kristie's nephew and the older brother of fellow ring bearer Silas. He makes straight A's in school, along with all his other brothers, and loves playing video games. He has a girlfriend, but he won't tell you her name. Like Silas, his girlfriend's name is also a secret.
Lilli Phillips
Flower Child
Lillie is Jamie's little niece who loves playing dress-up and giving weather forecasts. She'll likely be a meteorologist on your local news channel when she grows up, so stay tuned!
Jill Dodd Garrett
Bridesmaid
Jill is Kristie's first cousin. Jill is an artist and health food blogger, is married to a brilliant teacher, and they have 2 children together, Tatum and Doss. Kristie loves spending time with Jill when she can, and hopes she will come back to visit without worrying about Jamie forgetting she's parked in their driveway, and crashes into her car...again.
Stacy Dodd Allen
Bridesmaid
Stacy is Kristie's first cousin as well. Her, Jill and Kristie would play in the creek at family picnics; the muddier they'd get, the happier they were. Stacy is a professional in Radiology, and is married to a great guy named Nathan who is a radiology professional as well. They're both parents of two beautiful daughters; Chloe, who's a tennis champ, and Peyton, who's a cheerleader. Both will be heading to college soon, which really makes Kristie feel old.
Erenee Mastorides McLam

Erenee became best friend to Kristie, and her mom kept Kristie fed while she sowed her wild oats down in Orlando back in the 90's. They're GREEK, dude. How cool is that? Erenee and Kristie had a lot of fun together and learned how to dance the East and West Coast swing. Guys used to throw them up in air and spin them around. Too much spinning one night, because Kristie met Erenee's dad by getting sick in their front yard, but he was really sweet about it and made her feel like family. Erenee met and fell in love with a great guy named Randy and they have a little girl and a baby boy. They own Crown Bullet Manufacturing, so if you need some great quality ammo, give them a ring.
LuAnne Hardee

LuAnne is a great friend to both Kristie and Jamie. She is married to groomsman Hal Hardee, is a vegan health guru, and a very motivating life force. Her and Hal live in the most serene and beautiful lakeside spot you could imagine, and have 3 beautiful pet hens. They are also parents to a wonderful son who has inherited their caring and kind personalities. We are thrilled to have LuAnne stand at our side on our wedding day.
Leigh Butler

Leigh is Kristie's aunt by marriage to her Uncle Mark. Leigh is a lot of fun and is hilarious. She's also a big music fan...Well she has to be if she's gonna stay married to Mark, lol. Leigh is always there when you need her and is a huge support unit to her family and friends. One should be so lucky to have a gal around like Leigh.

Margaret has been a friend of Kristie's for years and defines the term "Earth Mother". Her aura and vibe is peaceful and her personality is warm and caring. She loves animals, is a great singer of her own band, and is married to a fun guy named Ravinel. They're both real-estate professionals and own Trading Earth Real Estate Company. So if you need a great home in the North Alabama area, look them up!
Kassie Dodd Sparks
Maid of Honor
Being the sister of Kristie must be pretty amazing. (Okay, okay, this is Kristie writing this, so let's get real.) I accidentally broke Kassie's arm when she was 3 years old by pushing her in her tricycle over a tree root. I really felt bad about that, but give me a break, I was only 6. Her little arm cast was precious, though. All these kids from her class signed it with "get well" wishes in different colors. Mine said, "Oops, sorry -Love, Kristie." She is now married with 4 children, and I'm happy to report that her arm healed back to 100%. You NEED both arms with four kids. You just do.
