Kevin and I met in Nashville, TN while we were both on vacation. We hit it off right away and hung out the rest of that evening. I even tried to teach him how to line dance (didn't go as well as you may think). Later that night we had taken a picture together and believe it or not I had sent it to my mom the next day with a massage that said "mom, this is Kevin, I'm moving to Maryland and we're getting married in Mexico fall 2020". When he got home he told his friends and family about the girl who lives in Indiana, needless to say they thought he was insane to think he could make it work with a girl who lived so far away. By that Thursday Kevin had booked his flight to Indiana to see me again and meet my crazy family. From there we traveled back and forth for a few months until we decided it was time for me to make the move to be together in Maryland. Call me crazy, but I'd say it was love at first sight!

Kevin and I had taken a trip back to Indiana to visit friends and family, much to my surprise it was going to be so much more than that! We spent the day visiting friends because my mom was "busy" so we couldn't go straight there which is what we'd normally do, we then had plans to meet Kevins friends for dinner. We were stopping at my parents to drop our things and say hi before heading out. As we walked around the house Kevin stopped me and thats when it happened! I had no words, I was in tears of happiness! Little did I no the excitement wasn't over, we continued walking around back and all my family and friends were there to celebrate with us! I truly than had no words, it was more amazing than anything I could have ever imagined! Kevin had his own surprise, his dad and step mom had flown in from Maryland to be there for our engagement!! We are so very excited to celebrate with you all as we start this new journey in our lives. See you soon!
