Question

What is the camp lodging like?

Answer

Camp accommodations include cabins with bunk-style beds. All cabins have electricity and lighting. Linens will be provided, including a blanket in case it's a chilly evening. Some cabins have indoor bathrooms, and others have bathrooms and showers a short walk away. The camp can hold many more people than we will have on site, so we envision being able to spread everyone out comfortably, between 4-8 people per cabin. We anticipate that everyone can be grouped in cabins with others you know! We understand everyone has different comfort levels and needs, so we will do our best to accomodate. Please use the RSVP form to share these preferences. Here is more info: https://windsormountain.org/facilities/

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! The camp has plenty of parking. If staying at the camp, you can bring your car closer to your cabin first to unload, then return to the parking lot.

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

Linens, blanket, pillow, and hand towel will be provided for those staying at the camp. We suggest bringing what else you need to sleep comfortably--eye mask, ear plugs. Headlamps could be handy for outside. We also suggest sunscreen, bugspray, a beach towel, and your swimsuit! More information coming soon on what to bring to make the weekend as fun and as comfortable as possible for you!

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

For the ceremony and reception, we suggest cocktail or dressy casual--but truly, whatever you feel your best in. You'll feel at home in a cocktail dress, sundress, jumpsuit, matching set, romper... truly whatever you prefer. Don’t feel required to wear a suit or suit jacket if you don’t feel like it. Also, any colors are a go--patterns with white, off-white, even white. We do not care--we promise. Break out that fun white dress that you can never find an occasion to wear! Do wear shoes that you can walk on dirt paths in--think no stilettos heels. Cover-ups or light jackets in case of a cooler evening are good to have on hand. The rest of the weekend, dress to be comfortable and have fun. Weather in New England is unpredictable, so prepare for different temperatures and rain! For those staying in the cabins--they don't have heat or AC, which we don't expect to be too much of an issue in late summer, but bring what you need to sleep comfortably. Your bedding sets will include blankets, just in case.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We hope this weekend will be an opportunity to unleash your inner child, and leave the younger kiddos and babies at home. That said, if this is a barrier to you being able to join us at camp for the weekend, please let us know and we'll work with you to accomodate. Cabins are designed to accommodate groups of people, so we aren’t able to offer cabins for individual people or couples. That said, nearby airbnbs and the bed & breakfast down the road are great options for this.

Question

What about dietary restrictions?

Answer

The camp is experienced in catering to dietary restrictions including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, nut free, and dairy free. We'll gather this information from you later on so the kitchen can prepare accordingly.

Question

Can I bring drinks and food?

Answer

Meals and drinks will be provided through the weekend. However you are welcome to bring beverages and snacks of your choosing--just no hard alcohol! All other alcohol can be self-served--beer, wine, cider, seltzer, and canned cocktails are fair game. The camp kitchen can store items in the fridge for you if needed.
