We first met at a party at Jamie’s now brother-in-law, Adam’s house in 2016. We got to hangout a little bit that night, but we went our separate ways and didn’t think much of it. It was December 31st, 2018, that changed everything. Jamie, her sister Kenzi, and Adam went to a New Year’s party at Julian’s house. Everyone at the party wanted to go to a club in downtown Salt Lake City. After frantically searching for a nice shirt that would fit Adam (the club had a dress code) and ending up having to leave to stop back at Adam’s house, we finally made it to the club. Sometime after midnight, to save Jamie from dancing with a rather creepy guy, her sister grabbed her and forced her to dance with Julian who was dancing nearby. We again went our separate ways, but this time Julian had Jamie’s number. Jamie waited for a very long week for Julian to text her, but he never did. She finally texted him when she couldn’t wait any longer. We went on our first date about a week later and the rest is history.
