When should I RSVP by?

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

NO! Please do not buy us gifts. We are rich lawyers and don't need more china. We will have a card box at the wedding. We would love for each of you to write us a note that we can enjoy after the wedding.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Smart summer casual. Gentlemen: No ties! Jackets are certainly not necessary, but will not be out of place. The happy couple will be barefoot during the ceremony :) The very short ceremony will be outside on the beach and you can expect Nebraska in late June to be quite warm. Beyond that, we hope to enjoy the A/C indoors. So, consider attire that is flexible.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Sorta :) The wedding is an adult affair and the invitations are addressed accordingly. However, our kids will, of course, be present during all parts of the celebration, and a few of their friends will also be in attendance. If attending without your kids causes a problem for your family please just let us know.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Yes! We plan to have courtesy cars/vans running from both hotels to the ceremony, reception, and back to the hotels. We are expecting a healthy number of out of town guests, so please afford plenty of time. Ride shares are also an option to get from the hotel to the ceremony/reception, but ride shares this far West get a little iffy as the evening progresses. It is a 5-7 minute drive.

What is the food, beverage, and entertainment situation the day of the wedding?

Answer

There will be drinks and snacks at the house before the ceremony. The ceremony will be short, but we do not want anyone to be parched so please take a drink with you outside. The reception will be a typical wedding buffet with an open bar. After dinner there will be super awesome dancing courtesy of a DJ. Requests will be taken. Y------M--C--A......
