How It All Started We met in nursing school… in a Zoom class. Yep — romance at its finest! One minute we were trying to figure out breakout rooms, and the next, it was all downhill from there (in the best way possible). What started as casual “Did you get the homework?” messages turned into late-night study sessions, inside jokes, and eventually the best kind of friendship — the kind where you can’t imagine life without the other person. We were both terrified to cross that line from friends to something more (classic us — diagnosing our own feelings like a couple of nurses), but in the end, it just felt right. And it was. ❤️ ⸻ The Proposal Fast forward to a dreamy night in Hawaii — dinner by the beach, waves rolling in, and Jon acting just nervous enough to not have me realize what was happening but also wondering what is going on. Turns out, he was about to propose! At Ko’Olina Lagoon, he got down on one knee, and I… completely froze. I just stood there in total shock, silent, while he waited (and probably rethought everything). But once I came back to reality, I said YES — and our little family couldn’t be happier! Our sweet Everly ugly cried right along with me (the true sign of a perfect proposal 🥹), and we spent the rest of the night celebrating with family — even waking a few people up to share the news. Now, we can’t wait to elope and officially start our forever together — laughter, love, and all the beautiful chaos in between. 💍🌺
