UPPER PAYETTE LAKE CAMPGROUND

Another good hiking or biking area, includes a mile-long paved trail that might be nice for kiddos.

Bear Basin Trailhead

Great wooded hills for mountain biking or hiking. Don't forget to take a pic of the map at the trailhead before you head out.

North Beach

Most popular and accessible spot for those looking to have a beach-in-the-mountains kind of day.

Gold Fork Hot Springs

FYI these folks are serious about the pandemic, so please bring your vaccination card. It's an amazing spot and well worth the short drive!

Burgdorf Hot Springs

Super neat hot springs at mining ghost town. A very "Idaho" experience.

Brundage Mountain Resort Idaho Ski Resort

Ride the chairlift to the top of the mountain for some amazing views of the valley.

Spring Bar Campground

A long-ish drive down into the Salmon River canyon with lots of white-sand beach campgrounds along the river. It'll be hotter down here, so bring your swimsuit!
