Here are some common questions/answers that we felt would be helpful.
Question

Do I have to book by September 16th, 2024?

Answer

No. We were told by our travel agent that it would be great if everyone could start the reservations to ensure they had a room due to it being high travel season. We understand that this is short notice and understand if you need more time. If you have any questions for travel, please reach out to Stephanie Menard. Are children invited?

Answer

No. This is an adult- only all inclusive resort. Though we love your children and love hanging out with them. We love you more. We thought long and hard on choosing a destination that would allow us quality time with our friends and family.

Where do I find the travel form to book my reservation?

Answer

If you click on the tab for "travel" and scroll down to travel accommodation, there should be a tab that says "view". Click it and it will send you to a form for you to fill out for our wedding travel team. Answer their questions and they will reach out to you with a temporary travel itinerary for you to review. Once you confirm, they will send an invoice for you to pay the DEPOSIT. You do not have to pay in full at this time.

What's included at Secrets Moxche Playa del Carmen?

Answer

All Inclusive resorts are priced per person, based on how many individuals are booked in a room. The rates listed are PER PERSON and include: Hotel Accommodations All Inclusive Meal Plan - Also includes all beverages including alcohol Round trip shared transportation between the destination airport & your resort Hotel, Tax & gratuities All wedding events & activities Optional Travel insurance is available to protect your investment. Question

Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?

Answer

Yes, all international travelers are required to have a passport, including infants and children. To learn more about the application process, please visit the U.S. Department of State website. A passport BOOK is required - Passport Cards, Enhanced Drivers Licenses or SENTRI cards are not valid for air travel. If you already have a passport, please check the expiration date. The US State Department recommends that international travelers have 6 months of validity remaining on their passport after their return trip date. PASSPORT PROCESSING TIME is extremely delayed right now, check this site for details and *do not* wait until the last minute! https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/processing-times.html If you have a passport already but haven't used it in awhile, pull it out and double check when it expires. You will not be able to travel if your passport expires within 6 months of your travel date.

Question

Can I use my points when booking through the travel team provided?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Points have to be redeemed by the company issuing them. You are welcome to try to book through your points system and see which works better for you! Just know with the travel team they will prepare your flights, transfers (to the resort and back), rooms, and travel insurance all in one price.

Is traveler insurance required?

Answer

Because group reservations at all inclusive resorts are pre-paid and non-refundable, travel insurance is encouraged to protect your investment. Life is unpredictable; plans can change. Travel insurance prices will be quoted for each individual guest. Without insurance, there are no refunds should your plans change. REGARDING INSURANCE/FEES: • If you purchased travel insurance, this allows you to cancel for any reason with a full refund, minus the cost of insurance. • Should you need to cancel your vacation, this must be done with us at least 48 hours prior to departure IN WRITING via email. • Vacations To Remember does charge a $250 cancellation fee that must be collected prior in order for us to assist with this transaction. • To avoid being denied boarding at the airport, please make sure all passport names and airline tickets match exactly. • Additional fees are charged by most airlines for checked baggage. Please review your airline's website for more information regarding this. • If we need to contact your airline to change a name from something you submitted to us, a minimum fee of $100 will be added to your balance.

Question

What is the payment process with booking through the travel liaison?

Answer

REGARDING PAYMENTS: • All payments must be submitted electronically via our website — we can not take any payments over the phone. • Once you submit payment, our system will not immediately advise this was received but we will email confirmation within 24-48 hours. • Please note your balance due date and submit payment by that deadline. If not paid, your entire booking may cancel and we can not reinstate. • Should you need an updated balance due, email your travel planner with your booking number to ask for this information. Payment Plan: After the deposit, you are welcome to pay each month towards your balance. There is no scheduled payment plan. Your balance just needs to be paid in full by deadline provided on your invoice.

Question

What if we are unable to make it?

Answer

Life happens, we understand. We knew choosing a destination wedding at an all inclusive resort would make our guest list small. Those that we have invited are special to us. Our friendship/relationship to you is not based if you can make it to our wedding. Regardless, we will continue to celebrate life events with you. There will be no hard feelings and you will be missed.
