Jacob and I met at Marshall University—and fun fact: we first crossed paths in the very building named after my great-grandfather. Ironic, right? We officially started dating in 2020, and now we’re beyond excited to start this next chapter of our lives together. After a lot of thought (and many late-night conversations), we’ve decided to elope. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it allows us to focus on what matters most to us—saving for a future home or continuing to travel the world like we love to do. That said, we still couldn’t imagine doing this without celebrating with all of you first. We can't wait to see everyone at our wedding shower! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. With love, Jamie & Jacob
As we prepare to celebrate this special chapter of our lives, we pause to honor the loved ones who will be with us in spirit. We lovingly remember Jamie’s Grandma and Grandpa, whose love and guidance helped shape the woman Jamie is today. Though they are no longer with us, their presence is deeply felt and forever cherished. We also honor Jacob’s brother, Joshua Jackson, and his non-blood brother, William Mohler—Jacob’s chosen brother in every way but name. Both left an indelible mark on Jacob’s heart and played a meaningful role in the man he is today. We will miss them deeply during these beautiful moments, but their love surrounds us—steady, strong, and everlasting. This celebration is as much for them as it is for us.
