Jamie was on her way home from work at the Veterinary Hospital one evening in April of 2020. She stopped when she saw the sweetest older blind dog with no tags near the road. Without knowing what to do, she quickly took the dog back up to where she worked to check for a microchip as they were closing soon. With no luck, she returned home. She was told by her Dad to check with the house on the corner near the road, where she had found the dog. Embarrassingly, she dragged her mom with her to ask if that corner house was missing their dog. When she knocked on the door, a handsome super tall guy answered. That’s how Jamie met Isaac. She had just taken Isaac’s German short hair “Chopper” out of his yard. Upon talking on Isaacs doorstep for half an hour, they made plans to get Isaac his dog back, and they secretly made plans for how they could see one another again. 4 days later, Jamie was ready to follow Isaac on Instagram. When that night she got a text… it was from Isaac! He warned her that he was letting his dogs out and cautioned her not to come steal them this time. And from there on, they were a perfect match. Bonding over their love of dogs, the outdoors, and everything in between.
