What is the wedding attire?

Garden Party Attire

Recommend for women wear sundresses, floral prints, dressy skirt and top or elegant pant suit with heels, wedges, or nice flats. For men, dress shirt, short sleeve button up, polo, and slacks with the option to wear a tie. For all, dancing shoes :) Note that temps avg around high of 78, low of 53 in July. So consider bringing a light jacket/sweater To get from the parking lot to the Ceremony and Reception you will need to walk down a small gravel road, and the events are taking place on grass so take that into consideration when choosing shoes. Including some colors of the wedding above if you need more direction. No need to overcomplicate things just make sure you're comfy and ready to dance!

4:30PM - Guests start to arrive 5:00PM - Ceremony starts 5:30PM - Ceremony ends/Pre dinner drinks and mingling 6:00 PM - First dances 6:30PM - Dinner 7:30PM - Toasts/speeches 8:00PM - Open dance floor 8:54PM - SUNSET

Where do I park?

Friday/Saturday

For Friday at Vern's cabin the neighbors are all aware of the events happening and have graciously allowed for parking on their property. Please be respectful of others and do not block anyone in. For the Ceremony/Reception please park in the main large lot by the Whistlin Jacks Lodge sign. You will then walk down the short gravel road to get to the site. We will mark this with signs. The road is around ~150ft but if you need assistance down the gravel road we will have a side by side taking people to the site from the parking lot.

Are kids allowed?

We are making exceptions for those traveling from out of town and members of the bridal party. Thank you for understanding!

Do you have a hotel block?

We had a block at Whistlin' Jacks. However these are booked up. There are still RV spots available!
