In a time of nothing but uncertainty, came a moment of certainty the day we met each other. The 2020 world lockdown led Frankie to look for a new job in his childhood vacation area of NJ, changing his home address, changing his career, and eventually changing his life for the absolute best. Their first date at Escondido's Mexican Restaurant had Jamie feeling a little tipsy by the middle of round 1 Margarita and Frankie buzzed on her beauty. Since that day, they were inseperable. Ice cream dates, bowling, dinners, and beach days became a thing of regularity and their love over that summer. Jamie invited Frankie in to her house one day to meet her mother which turned into meeting her sister, nana, 3 aunts the next-door neighbor, and even the cleaning lady. Scared to death that this would scare him away, Frankie felt the exact opposite. With Frankie's family all up and down the east coast, this made him feel more at home than ever since moving to NJ. Her family quickly became his and and his quickly became hers. Similarities in family values, morals, and loud family dinners, they both knew this was exactly where they were both meant to be, together. 2 years later, Frankie planned the proposal of a lifetime with moving parts that Jamie's father Rob didn't think he could pull off. Starting with her planning a "surprise birthday party" in Asbury Park, NJ for Frankie and ending with a surprise proposal with both families watching from afar, it was a day made of dreams come true. Asbury Park, NJ became a special place for the two of them early on when they snuck into the convention center theater and shared a private moment of slow dancing to no music. Frankie fell in love with her at this very moment and promised that one day he would ask her to marry him here, and thats exactly what he did. With her saying yes, the same place where they fell in love became the start of the next chapter of their life.
